Dear Parents,
School will dismiss at noon tomorrow, October 26. There will be no afternoon preschool tomorrow. Parent/Teacher conferences will be scheduled in the afternoon. The After School Program will be open for all students needing this service. Afternoon preschool students are welcome.
Holy Family will celebrate All Hallows Eve (Halloween) with parties on October 31. Morning preschool will have their party from 9:25 – 10:25a.m. Afternoon preschool and grades K – 8 will have their parties from 1:50 – 2:50 p.m. Students may wear orange and/or black shirts with their uniform bottoms.
November 1 is the holy day of All Saints Day. Students in Grades K – 6 are encouraged to come to school dressed as a saint. Students in grades 7 & 8 will have special roles in the liturgy of the 7:50 Mass. Following Mass students will change back into their uniforms for the remainder of the school day.
HFS Cub Scouts continue to collect food for the needy. Collection boxes are in the hallways.
HFS Brownies/Girl Scouts continue to collect tabs from aluminum cans to benefit the Ronald McDonald House. Collection boxes are in each classroom.
We continue to collect funds for the CASA “Pennies from Heaven” program. Each classroom has a collection container.
The Bowl-a-thon is Saturday, October 29 at Blue Ribbon Lanes from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
