Dear Parents,
The students are studying Unit C, Chapter 2 in Science. They are applying the use of I.D. characteristics of rocks and the Moh’s hardness scale in the lab. They are learning the 3 basic types of rocks and the rock cycle.
There is a Simple Solutions test on Friday over lessons 41-44. The students are beginning to work with graphs. Remember that there is a review Simple Solutions quiz every Tuesday.
In Religion we are going over some of the changes in liturgy that will begin on the first week of Advent.
We are beginning a new story in our reading book. Our Spelling test on Friday will be over the words found on p. 269 in the Practice Book. They include the ou, oi, oy, and aw sounds. These can be tricky.
We are working on writing an announcement and the importance of presenting the information in a clear and concise way.
