Dear Parents,
Our sounds for this week are: “c” “k” and “ck,” as in cat, cow, and cork, kangaroo, key, kite, rock, and duck; “s” as in skeleton, soap, and strawberry; and “x” as in x-ray, box, and fox. We are learning about Mexico! We have been reading such books as: On the Way to Mexico and Mexico ABC’s. If you have any artifacts from Mexico that you are willing to share, please send them with your child. Thank you!
UPDATE on Mary’s Boy Child. We have a new version of Mary’s Boy Child that I purchased with the background music for our performance. We will use this version. The words are included in your child’s folder. Thank you for practicing the words with your child.
NOTE: P.T.O. Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the church basement (undercroft). First and second grade students will be performing! Please plan to attend.
REMINDER: Thanksgiving Break is Saturday, November 19th through Sunday, November 27th. School will resume on Monday, November 28th.
NOTE: Please mark Tuesday, December 13th on your calendar!! The Holy Family School Christmas Program will be held at 6:30 p.m.
